Dr. Mukesh Aghi is the President of the U.S.-India Business Council.
With over 27 years of experience across diverse industries and geographies, Dr. Aghi has a proven track record of leading various international business giants. His last assignment was as Chief Executive and Member of the Board at L&T Infotech. Earlier he served at Steria, Inc. - India, as its’ CEO, Asia-Pacific and Global Executive Sales Director. He brings with him unique market knowledge and access in Europe and extensive experience in several verticals in the Services industry. He was responsible for Steria Inc. – India’s top 50 global accounts with revenues exceeding $ 1.5 billion and was instrumental in the successful merger with Xansa, creating a multi-billion dollar technology services business. In his previous roles, Dr. Aghi has associated with Universitas 21 Global (world's largest consortium of research-led universities and a global leader in providing post-graduate online education); IBM Corporation where he was the President of IBM India; Ariba Inc.; JD Edwards & Co. to name a few. His expertise spans across management of global consumer and corporate strategies; building and maintaining talents across geographies; profitable turnaround of operations through effective business strategies; management of global joint ventures and alliances and building strong leadership teams.
Dr. Aghi holds an advanced Management Diploma from Harvard Business School, and a Ph.D. in International Relations from Claremont Graduate University in California. An MBA in International Marketing from Andrews University, Michigan, Dr. Aghi has also completed his BA in Business Administration from the Middle East College, Beirut, Lebanon. Fluent in many international languages, Dr. Aghi was recognized by Esquire magazine as a Global Leader and has won many awards including the J. R. D. Tata Leadership award. A major marathon and mountaineering enthusiast, Dr. Aghi has competed in over 22 international marathons and has climbed some of the highest peaks both in North America and Europe.

Mr. Kumar has a proven record of over 40 years of diverse management, turnaround and strategic planning experience with a diverse group of small and large companies,government entities, and community based organizations. His latest turnaround companies include a healthcare company and a real estate development company, both located in Southern California. Mr. Kumar has vast experience in project Completion, Monitoring & Evaluation of multi-million dollar projects and special management studies while working with the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. His leadership roles in his Presidential and Governors’ appointmentsand the organizations he founded like the U.S. Indian Chamber of Commerce have made him a prominent champion of small businesses, entrepreneurship and community service. He has served all U. S. Presidents starting with President Ronald Reagan.
Mr. Kumar has a Master’s Degree in Organization Development from South-East Asia Interdisciplinary Institute, Manila, a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Diploma in Industrial and Production Engineering. Mr. Kumar is the recipient ofnumerous prestigious awards, including the 2015 Ellis Island Medal of Honor. He was honored by the Brain Injury Association (USA) for ‘Unheralded Advocacy’, which lead to the enactment of “1996 Traumatic Brain Injury Act” of U.S. Congress. KV Kumar is featured in “Notable Asian Americans”. Mr. Kumar serves on boards of several organizations and companies.

In September 1980, Mr. Schoenhut formed Copia Trading
Co., Ltd., a coffee futures execution firm on the
Coffee, Sugar & Cocoa Exchange (CSCE) trading floor. He
expanded that business into cocoa in 1982. He has served
as Coffee Floor Committee Chairman, Operations and
Technology Committee Chairman, as well as in various
other committee leadership posts. Mr. Schoenhut chaired
the NYBOT Relocation Committee, which was responsible
for finding the exchange a new home since its
destruction in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. In 2006, Mr.
Schoenhut was extensively involved with the successful

Mr. Schoenhut was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1956,
and currently resides in Oyster Bay, Long Island. He
attended Baldwin High School and later graduated from
Clarkson University in 1978 with a BS in Electrical
Engineering. He and his wife Laurie have been married
since 1985 and have four children.

creating and identifying investments in the communications

Corporation, where he was a member of the executive team
that took the company public raising over one billion
dollars and achieving a market capitalization of over
thirty billion dollars. Corvis’ IPO was one of the most
successful in the telecom sector in 2000.
Prior to joining Corvis,
Glenn had an accomplishment-rich career with Nortel
Networks, where he held a number of executive positions.
One initiative hed led was the launch and development of
Nortel’s optical business. As President of the company’s
Internet and Service Provider business, he was a key
executive in positioning the company in the Internet
Protocol sector with the specific focus of achieving
leadership in high-speed access.
In 1997, Glenn engineered
Nortel’s acquisition of Aptis Communications and played a
key role in its acquisition of Bay Networks. He currently
serves on a number of boards. Glenn received a bachelors
degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University,
in Montreal. Mr. Falcao also served as member of executive
board of US Indian American Chamber of Commerce (USIACC).

Mr. Shah has over
twenty years of experience in accounting standards, income
tax laws, IRS audits, and overall accounting and financial
management. He manages three offices in Washington DC
metropolitan area, providing accounting services,
financial planning and business planning to physicians,
dentists, IT professionals and hospitality industry. In
addition, his office provides services to small businesses
from setup, incorporation to compiling write-ups, reviews,
payroll management and accounting.
Mr. Shah has
Master’s Degree in Accounting and is a licensed Chartered
Public Accountant (India) and a CPA in Maryland.
